Growing up on the west side of Chicago instilled in me a profound respect for community, resilience, and the boundless possibilities that arise when we invest in people and their potential. These values have shaped my journey—from the classrooms of Chicago to the halls of Harvard—and continue to guide my work as a nationally recognized leader in education and equity. With over 15 years of experience as a teacher, principal, and systems leader, I have dedicated my career to creating a lasting legacy through transformational leadership, fostering environments where students, educators, and organizations can thrive.
Proven Leadership in Education
As a principal in Chicago, I led my school through a groundbreaking transformation that yielded significant academic gains and introduced a successful 90-minute school day extension. This bold initiative improved literacy and math outcomes while enriching the overall school experience for students and staff alike.
In Madison, Wisconsin, as Chief of Elementary Schools, I oversaw 32 schools, driving district-wide improvements in literacy and mathematics. Under my leadership, 17 schools achieved double-digit literacy gains over five years, with several surpassing 20-point improvements. I also designed and implemented a pioneering support system that empowered school leaders with the tools to execute their visions effectively.

Today, I collaborate with mission-driven organizations, nonprofits, and educational systems nationwide. My work helps leaders build systems and strategies that drive equitable outcomes, foster sustainable growth, and honor the diverse communities they serve.
